ImageWell – Image Editing and More for Mac OS X Users
Weighing in a little under 1Mb, ImageWell is an application to be used on the Apple-developed Mac OS X operating system (starting from Tiger to Leopard and Snow Leopard). With ImageWell the Mac OS X user can do several things. First of all he can edit, rotate, crop and resize his collection of images. Once he’s done editing the images, he can then upload those images to a FTP server, WebDAV server or to iDisk.
The simple truth of the matter is that any household has at least one digital camera or at least one mobile device fitted with a camera. And once you have a digital camera, what do you do with it? You take as many photos as you want, since it doesn’t cost you a thing to do so. Then you download the image onto your computer and enjoy. Some images may need some editing – and this is where software application ImageWell comes in.
The number of editing tasks you can perform with ImageWell is quite lengthy. Here are some of the tasks you can perform with this software application: resize, rotate, crop, batch process, layer multiple images, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, add a watermark, add shapes for borders, add talking balloons, arrows, circles, squares, text, and much more.
As if that isn’t enough, there are a few other tasks that ImageWell can pull off. First of all you should know that the software can be used to download images from your digital camera. Then you should know that it seamlessly lets you upload your images to iDisk (of a FTP or WebDAV server). Before you upload anything, you can preview how the image looks like. If the need arises, you can adjust the quality and the size of the image you want to upload.
